RESULTS
Before
This dam is part of an 1870's cotton gin and was severely eroded, causing the owner to have to lower the water level. The bank had collapsed into the pond, leaving very little solid ground and almost making the dam inaccessible.
After
This bank is now stabilized and the pond was returned to normal height. We brought in and tamped material to replace what was washed away and secured it by arranging riprap. Seed and straw was placed on the remaining bare soil to encourage new lush growth.
